Himachal Polls: “Will analyse our shortcomings...” says outgoing CM Jairam Thakur after defeat in assembly elections

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Dec 08 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Jairam Thakur on Dec 08 has conceded defeat in the assembly elections and will resign soon from the Chief Minister’s post. However, he continues his lead from his constituency Seraj. While speaking to the media persons on the defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Himachal Pradesh, he expressed that he respects the people’s mandate and wants to thank Prime Minister and other central leadership during the last 5 years. Adding further, he said that the party will analyse its shortcomings and improve during the next term. He said, “I respect people's mandate and I want to thank Prime Minister and other central leadership during the last 5 years. We'll stand for the development of the state irrespective of politics. We'll analyse our shortcomings and improve during the next term.”
