HM Amit Shah to inaugurate Archaeological Experiential Museum in Gujarat’s Vadnagar

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate India's first and largest Archaeological Excavation Experiential Museum in Vadnagar, Gujarat, on January 16. The museum will showcase the town's 2,500-year-old heritage, featuring seven cultural layers dating back to 800 BCE. Significant finds, including ruins of a Buddhist Monastery, pottery, and coins, reveal Vadnagar's rich history. Additionally, landmarks like Sri Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Sharmishtha Lake, and Kirti Toran arch highlight its cultural significance. The museum also includes an art gallery focused on Vadnagar’s rulers, religions, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s childhood, offering a unique blend of history and modern development.
