HP admin on high alert in view of heavy rainfall in upcoming days: CM Jairam Thakur

Shimla (HP) July 06 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on July 06 held a meeting with DCs and SPs of all the districts to prepare against incidents of landslides, cloudbursts, flash floods that happen during monsoon in the state.After attending the meeting, Thakur said, “During monsoon, incidents of landslides, floods and cloudbursts are reported in Himachal Pradesh. One such incident has just been reported from Kullu. Five people have been missing. The Revenue Minister would be taking stock of the situation.” “Today, I held a virtual meeting with Deputy Commissioners across state. If an untoward incident is reported, we'd rush help to the spot. With prospect of heavy rainfall in coming days, there is some risk. We'd stay on high alert, so we could take timely action,” he added.
