India Army braves harsh winters to safeguard LoC

Baramulla (J&K) Jan 01 (ANI): Bone chilling cold, downpour or scorching summer, harsh weather conditions fail to deter brave jawans of Indian Army. Committed to safeguard India’s territorial integrity, soldiers are on their toes to thwart nefarious attempts of enemies. Indian Army has stepped up its vigil along the Line of Control in URI sector in J&K’s Baramulla. Despite snowfall and cold wave, soldiers remain alert at front outposts to safeguard India’s territorial integrity. While people across India celebrates New Year with enthusiasm, jawans were ensuring India’s safety and security. Army personnel equipped with high-tech equipment are well-trained to work in snow-bound sectors. Indian Army has made rapid strides in adopting technologies to stay future-ready for uncertainties. From surveillance drones and night cameras to thermal imaging tracers, soldiers are combat-ready to avert bids. The soldiers are keeping an eye on every nook and corners of the border to avert any eventuality. Earlier, J&K DGP Dilbagh Singh informed that 186 terrorists, including 56 Pakistani nationals, were killed in 2022.
