India has improved its performance in Chess in last 8 years: PM Modi

New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 19 launched the torch relay for the 44th Chess Olympiad at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi and said that India has improved its performance in Chess in the last 8 years. “Our ancestors invented the games like Chaturanga and Chess for the analytical development of the brain. Children who play Chess are becoming good problem-solvers. In the last 8 years, India has improved its performance in Chess,” the PM said.
