India-Japan armies perform mock drills at ‘Dharma Guardian’ joint Exercise

Bikaner (Rajasthan), Mar 04 (ANI): The 5th edition of the India-Japan joint exercise ‘DHARMA GUARDIAN’ is being held in Rajasthan. On March 04, both armies demonstrated how troops work in synergy and bring down the target. India-Japan armies performed a kill house exercise and used specially trained dogs, an eagle for the task. Exercise aimed to strengthen the capabilities of both armies in counter-terrorism, disaster response scenarios. ‘Dharma Guardian’ is an annual exercise conducted alternatively in India and Japan. The Japanese contingent is represented by troops from the 34th Infantry Regiment. The battalion from the Rajputana Rifles is representing the Indian Army contingent.
