New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw attended a roundtable conference and held a meeting with 42 CEOs of manufacturing companies in the Telecom sectors in Delhi on December 03. While talking to ANI, Vaishnaw said the PLI (Production Linked Incentive) scheme is well drafted and appreciated for its simplicity. Furthermore, he said that India should become a technology exporter in the coming years in a very sure and certain way. He said, “Today we had a meeting with 42 CEOs from various manufacturing companies in telecom sector, and in line with PM's vision to make India a leader in telecom technology, we interacted.” “The PLI (Production Linked Incentive) scheme is well drafted and appreciated for its simplicity. New ideas came up for which 5-6 task forces have been set up. India should become a technology exporter in coming years in a very sure and certain way,” he added.
