India welcomes UN resolution on terror financing, says world body should ensure its implementation

New York (US), Mar 29 (ANI): As the United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution aiming at fighting terror financing; India welcomed the step but also urged the world body to ensure its implementation to the fullest. “Specifically welcome recognition in resolution of essential role of financial action task force. The utility of any council resolution will be in its implementation,” said Syed Akbaruddin, India’s permanent representative at the United Nations.
