Indian Embassy building in Madagascar lit up with ‘VasudhaivaKutumbakam’

Antananarivo (Madagascar), Sep 29 (ANI): As India organizes a host of events under ‘AzadikaAmritMahotsav’ to commemorate and celebrate 75 years of its independence, Indian Embassy in Madagascar’s capital Antananarivo held a number of programs celebrating the core Indian philosophy of ‘VasudhaivaKutumbakam’, a Sanskrit phrase meaning ‘the world is one family’. Ambassador Abhay Kumar highlighted the significance of the Idea and said it had successfully held the world together in a rapidly evolving global discourse. To mark the occasion, a painting competition on the theme of VasudhaivaKutumbakam was also organised by the Embassy. Adhering to the philosophy of VasudhaivaKutumbakam, , India has provided training to over 200,000 professionals from 161 partner countries under Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation since 1964.
