New Delhi, July 19 (ANI): Speaking on the precautionary dose, National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation Chairman Dr NK Arora on July 19 said that individuals with comorbidities should also be given additional doses of the COVID vaccine. “There was a discussion started at that time in our COVID working group in the context of WHO recommendation that inactivated vaccine recipients should receive an additional dose,” he added. “Those who have immunosuppressed and immunocompromised state and those individuals who have comorbidities like heart, kidney and liver diseases, should also be given an additional dose of COVID vaccine,” he further said.
