International Exhibition organised with Central Asian artworks to attract enthusiasts in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 28 (ANI): Two-day International Exhibition with displays of Central Asian artisans' work attracted visitors in Srinagar. It was a part of the World Craft Council (WCC)’s 60th anniversary celebration aims to strengthen connections between artisans from Central Asia and Kashmir. The aim was to promote the world-famous handmade products, crafted by skilled local artisans. Almost 100 artisans from different countries including Kuwait, UK, Ireland, Australia and all Central Asian places showcased their unique handmade products. Kashmiri art and craft is the adoption of roots in Central Asia, inclwiuding Iran, Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. This unique world class art and craft was brought by the great Islamic figure Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamdani. This international event was also the major platform for artisans to know the similarities between each other’s art and craft work.
