International flights should be stopped: Jharkhand Health Minister on COVID situation

Ranchi (Jharkhand), Dec 22 (ANI): Amid a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases, Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta on Dec 22 demanded the Central Government to stop flights and international passengers from China and other such countries. “Earlier, the Centre didn't take COVID-19 seriously. Now they are seriously tackling it by taking cognizance of the COVID-19 situation in China. We are prepared and have taken adequate measures. As and when cases rise, we'll take immediate steps. We've held talks with the Union health minister. Further flights and international passengers from China & other such countries should be stopped,” Banna Gupta said.
