Interstate Gang of Extortionists Busted by Delhi Police

New Delhi, November 18(ANI) Delhi Police Crime Branch has busted an interstate gang of extortionists and arrested 9 members including mastermind Akhilesh Mishra. The Gang members took inspiration from Bollywood Movie “Special 26” for extortion conspiracy. Recently, the gang, impersonating as Enforcement Directorate officials, extorted 20 crores from a Mumbai-based businessman by sending them fake summons and notices of the Enforcement Directorate. Businessmen reported this matter to the police. To nab the accused and to unravel the conspiracy, the police team reached The Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi and apprehended the accused persons.
