Srinagar, Jan 17 (ANI): Irrespective of the quantum change in the lifestyle of Kashmiri people, the traditional Kashmiri Pheran continues to be the king of all winter dresses. When the mercury plummets in the valley, almost everyone picks Pherans from their wardrobes. It is now characteristic of the people of Kashmir. The iconic Pheran has also transcended boundaries and went on to become popular outside Kashmir. The traditional Pheran extended to the feet, while the modern style of Pheran extends below the knees. The Pheran makers know its popularity and hence have become innovative while making the quintessential dress. It is again that time of the year when Pherans are in huge demand. The makers have now come up with designers Pherans with colourful flower patterns and styles. The markets in the valley are all decked up with designer Pherans.
