J-K: Awareness cum training program on aromatic plants cultivation organised in Kulgam

Kulgam (J&K), Dec 28 (ANI): Awareness cum training program on the cultivation, processing, and marketing of medicinal and aromatic plants was organised by CSIR- Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) in collaboration with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Kulgam of Jammu and Kashmir. After the inaugural and technical sessions, interaction with participants, farmers, growers, and other stakeholders was conducted. The experts apprised the participants of the objectives of the event. More than 100 participants including faculty members, growers, farmers, entrepreneurs, and local youth from different villages and zones participated in the program. The farmers lauded the step taken by the concerned departments as it will help them to enhance their income by doing these things with modern technology. The members of the Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) also participated in this program.
