J-K: ‘Verinag Winter Tourism Festival’ underway in Anantnag

Anantnag (J&K), Dec 29 (ANI): The winter tourism festival was organised by the District Administration Anantnag in collaboration with Verinag Development Authority and Municipal committee to promote tourism during the winter. The festival witnessed participation of people from different walks of life besides tourists. Cultural programs were held and local artists also performed in the festival. Multiple stalls were also installed by various departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep, Animal Husbandry, Tourism, KVIB, Apiculture, Floriculture and Handicrafts and other departments and entrepreneurs. Local artists and local residents lauded this step taken by the concerned departments.
