Baramulla (J&K), August 7 (ANI): As India celebrates its 75th year of independence, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ has brought a wave of celebration to the country. ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is the campaign launched by the Government of India to encourage every citizen of the nation to bring home the tricolour and hoist it with pride. Villagers of Gaggar Hill along the Line of Control (LOC) in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir also participated in this campaign. It is a remote village with challenges of its own but nothing deterred them from becoming a part of this campaign. In one of the heartening events conducted, locals organised a ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ March on August 06. Active participation from youth, elders and kids exhibited unique patriotic fervour in this part of Kashmir. Indian Army too joined hands with them and assisted them in making this initiative a success. Little children proudly carried the national flag, which were then hoisted on rooftops of their houses.
