Jammu twin-blasts: Army’s Mudhol Hounds reach at site of twin explosions in Narwal

Jammu (J&K), Jan 22 (ANI): From search operations or sniffing bomb India’s security dogs have proved their mettle. After twin blast in Jammu, Army’s dog unit reached the site in Narwal. The unit comprised of Mudhol Hounds, an indigenous breed known for its agility. Recently inducted into service, these dogs are named after erstwhile princely state of Mudhol. Popular for hunting and guarding skills, Mudhol is the first Indian breed to be drafted into Army. These dogs were first inducted into SPG squad, which provides security cover to PM Modi.
