Jammu twin blasts: Congress alleges ‘conspiracy’ amid Bharat Jodo Yatra in UT

Jammu (J&K), Jan 22 (ANI): Citing the latest Jammu twin blasts which injured 9 persons, Congress leaders Digvijaya Singh and Jairam Ramesh met the victims on January 22. Jairam Ramesh also questioned the timings of the blasts as ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ campaign entered the Jammu just a few days before the incident. Congress’ General Secretary in-charge Communications further stressed on Congress’ priority to keep party leader Rahul Gandhi safe in the Valley. Mocking BJP’s safety claims after removal of Article 370, Digvijaya Singh took a dig claiming that blasts highlight failure of party’s decision. He also demanded for a permanent rehabilitation policy for the victims of terrorism. The twin blasts took place at Jammu’s industrial area Narwal on January 21 under the span of just 1 hour.
