Japanese Robot named ‘Orihime’ greets ANI with “Hello”, urges Indians to visit Japan

Hiroshima (Japan) May 21 (ANI): Japan’s advanced technology and love for robots is known worldwide. An example of it was seen at the ongoing Group of Seven or G7 Summit in Hiroshima. A Japanese Robot named ‘Orihime’ deployed at International Media Centre greeted ANI with “Hello”. Several robots were deployed for security checks at the International Media Centre in Hiroshima, Japan during the Summit. The Robot further urged Indian people to visit Japan. In this year’s G7 Summit, the main aim was the disarmament and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Japan on May 19 to attend the G7 Summit as a guest at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida. PM Modi will be in Hiroshima for the G7 summit from May 19 to May 21.
