Ganderbal (J&K), Aug 06 (ANI): The 100-bed hospital set up by Medicare Hospital with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) provides good health care for pilgrims and locals during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baltal. Authorities have set up all types of test facilities under one roof including X-ray, ECG, and blood tests with free of cost. Health facilities will be provided to the pilgrims till the conclusion of the annual pilgrimage. Jammu and Kashmir’s government had also established a small hospital at Baltal base camp a few years back for emergency treatment or first aid. Due to a lack of capacity, patients were not getting proper treatment and staff also faced problems during Amarnath yatra. Now, pilgrims are getting good health care especially those who are facing oxygen problems. The yatra, which officially began on June 29 from the Baltal and Pahalgam base camps, is scheduled to conclude on August 19.
