J&K: 3-day conference on ‘Agri Tech Intelligence’ organised at SKUAST-K in Ganderbal

Ganderbal (J&K), Oct 17 (ANI): 3-day conference on ‘Agri Tech Intelligence and Beyond: Cutting Edge Innovations in Agriculture and Allied Sciences’ was organised in Ganderbal district. The event was organised by Faculty of Veterinary sciences & Animal Husbandry in collaboration with Agriculture forum for Technical education of Farming Society (AFTEFS). The aim was to sensitize all stakeholders on leveraging and better use of modern technologies especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Agriculture and allied sectors. More than 500 participants from Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary and Aquaculture sciences took part in this mega event. The high point of the conference is the involvement of keynote speakers from different parts of the world including USA, UAE, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka. Prof. Nazir Ahmad emphasized on embracing new advanced technologies including AI (Artificial Intelligence) in Agriculture and other allied sectors for the overall betterment of society. The event also saw the release of many publications from the host Division along with the souvenir and book of abstracts on the occasion. The faculty art & craft club also released its digital magazine MiniVet and Ladakh travelogue during the function
