Machil Kupwara (J&K), June 25 (ANI): The children from villages along the LoC in Kashmir valley have been facing problems in getting education amid lack of basic facilities. There are only some Government-run schools in these areas. To address the situation, the Indian Army has established an Army Goodwill School in Raghvan village in the Machil sector of Kupwara District. In this schools, the Army provides quality education and facilities for games so that they can compete with the district level students in exams and games. The Army gives them all facilities on very low nominal charges so that these children can afford them. It is not possible for students to come on a regular basis and that’s why they have also set up hostel with all the facilities so that they can focus on their studies properly. The students at Army Goodwill School are quite content since the school provides them with excellent resources. They all aspire to become officers, doctors, and other professionals who can help the people in these isolated areas.
