J&K: Entrepreneur makes mud houses to rekindle Kashmiri culture

Ganderbal (J&K), Aug 10 (ANI): The Kashmir valley has undergone significant changes with time and with this, the modus vivendi has also changed. Now, the traditional houses are also somehow diminishing. Amid all this, an entrepreneur Rameez Raja, who hails from Srinagar has embarked on a mission to build traditional mud houses. He has been making traditional mud houses in Kangan area of Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir. The mud houses have been built with ancient architecture using modern technology. He took two years to build these mud houses. It is made from the mud, dung, stones, husk, and leaves. It has now become main attraction among tourists and locals as everyone wants to stay in these huts to get experience of old traditional culture of Kashmir. Tourists from all over the country are making bookings to stay in these traditional huts.
