J&K govt reaches out to tribal people through ‘Back to village 4’ program in Anantnag
Nov 05, 2022
Anantnag (J&K), November 05 (ANI): The Jammu and Kashmir government is reaching out to Gujjar and Bakerwal Communities through the Back to village 4 (BTV4) program. The government launched the Back to village program a few years ago to address the complaints of local residents. However, at the time of the program the problems of those who lived in remote areas, notably tribals of all districts, were unresolved. Therefore, after resuming the back-to-village initiative, the government moved towards remote areas to hear the issues and complaints that poor people were experiencing on a daily basis. People who live in remote places often lack to contact high-ranking officials who may help them with their problems and fulfill their needs. Residents of remote areas of Kashmir are happy with the government's decision to relaunch this public-friendly program, and they applaud it.
