Baramulla (J&K), Oct 31 (ANI): In a heartwarming display of unity and festivity, Indian Army soldiers, deployed along the Line of Control, celebrated Diwali with locals in remote areas of Uri in Baramulla. The joyous occasion has been marked by lighting diyas, exchanging gifts with each other, sharing sweets and strengthening the bond between the army and locals. The soldiers and villagers got together and conveyed their best wishes to each other on the occasion of Diwali. Sweets and gifts were distributed among the locals. The locals expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army for their unwavering support and dedication to their well-being. Villagers also displayed their excitement in celebrating the festival with army personnel. As the diyas lit up, the Indian army and locals came together in a symbol of unity, hope and joy.
