J&K: Indian Army organises grand youth football championship in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 28 (ANI): The Indian Army in association with Kashmir Speaks NGO sponsored by Punit Balan Group organised Kashmir youth football championship in Srinagar on November 27. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of six women’s teams and 22 men’s teams from across Kashmir. The football championship has captured the spirit of sportsmanship and talent within the region. The closing ceremony of the championship was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guests LT. Gen. Rajiv Ghai and Chief Justice N Kotiswar Singh along with their spouses. In an exhilarating showdown, the finals were between FC Ganderbal locking horns with SCFA Srinagar in the men’s category, promising a display of skill and determination. Meanwhile, the women’s final witnessed the clash between Kashmir Arrows FC and KIC Budgam, both teams demonstrating exceptional prowess and dedication throughout the championship.
