Kupwara (J&K), Sept 05 (ANI): Irfan Aijaz, who hails from Wadipora village in Kupwara’s Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir, set up his own venture with the aim to be a job giver instead of a job seeker. He set up old types of huts for tourists to rest and enjoy local food in his village Wadipora along Sopore-Kupwara Road. The purpose of the initiative is to revive Kashmir's rich culture. These huts are the prime example of antique Kashmir and underscore cultural importance. Inspired by traditional huts in Bengaluru, Irfan Aijaz envisioned a similar experience by creating these types of huts in his hometown. His venture not only provides a unique and authentic experience for visitors but also offers a meaningful connection to Kashmiri heritage. Each hut is meticulously designed to reflect the traditional architecture and craftsmanship of the region. By reviving these huts, he hopes to instill a sense of pride in local traditions and encourage more people to explore and appreciate the rich heritage of Kashmir.
