J&K: Netizens heap praises on Tribal artist Muneer Khan for his paintings

Anantnag, Oct 06 (ANI): Kashmir valley has a lot of self-taught artists and Muneer Ali Khan is one among them. He hailed from far flung area at Shangus village of Anantnag district in South Kashmir. He belonged from the tribal community. Muneer Ali Khan started his schooling from Government School in Breng of Anantnag. He has been interested in painting since childhood. Muneer Ali Khan started making paintings of nature and later started making portraits. He has also done art classes from Government Art College. He took inspiration from famous artists like Rajinder Tikoo and Masood Hussain. He also made portraits of famous leaders including Defence minister Rajnath Singh, Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah etc. His paintings are famous in whole Kashmir valley.
