J&K: Project Empathy gives expression to ideas, reinforce compassion to school students in Baramulla

Srinagar (J&K), Oct 17 (ANI): Indian Army is developing the mental health of students studying in Army Goodwill School in Baramulla, J&K. They undertook the baseline research study for students with the help of Project Empathy. The objective of the research was to understand how children and teachers perceive empathy and its role in the education and holistic development of students in a classroom setting. The event gave Kashmiri students the expression of ideas and reinforces compassion among them. The experts conducted interactive sessions with students and teachers through focus group discussions, using art and semi-structured probes. It formed a space for students to share their ideas of how they perceive their relationships with their family, animals, and environment as well as with the larger community.
