J&K: South Kashmir Youth Fest and Cultural Engagement organised in Anantnag

Anantnag (J&K), Sept 27 (ANI): Indian Army organised ‘South Kashmir Youth Fest and Cultural Engagement’ on September 26 at Anantnag High Ground in Jammu and Kashmir. The fest was organised in coordination with District Administration of Anantnag. It was organised with an aim of empowering and engaging the youth of South Kashmir. It provided an opportunity to the budding talents of South Kashmir to showcase their skills. The cultural festival witnessed various performances by Achabal Open Mic, a blind singer Raja Sonu and Anantnag Rappers. Marital Arts displays and scintillating other displays were also performed by Indian Army band for entertainment. Motivational talks, recruitment drive, career counselling sessions were held during the festival. Special events like weapons and equipment display, and Indian Army dog show were also held to motivate the youth. It also witnessed a high turnout of local populace from various segments of the society and had presence of senior Indian Army and Civil dignitaries. ‘Veer Naris’ were also felicitated during the festival.
