J&K: South Kashmir’s longest bridge to be commissioned in Kulgam district

Kulgam (J&K), January 04 (ANI): The construction of the longest bridge, Chambgund Bridge, in the Kulgam district of South Kashmir, is in the final stages. The bridge will be open for commuters from the next month. The bridge is being funded by the World Bank and will benefit the people of South Kashmir. The 400-meter-long bridge at Chambgund is being constructed over the Vaishaw stream, a major tributary of River Jhelum in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. The estimated Cost of this bridge is Rs 32 crore. Local residents are happy with the construction as this bridge will solve many problems which they were facing early.
