Kashmiri potters preparing thousands of lamps ahead of Diwali

Srinagar, Oct 19 (ANI): Ahead of the Diwali festival, young Kashmiri potters are getting huge orders of lamps. They were busy preparing their orders at proper time. They have got an order of around fifteen thousand lamps for the Diwali festival. Before this, Kashmiri potters never got such big orders of Diwali lamps, which is the main requirement for the Diwali festival. Kashmir valley is also known as the valley of Sufis and saints because people belonging to different religions live with each other and celebrate the festival in full of spirit. So that’s why, the special order brings cheers to the Kashmiri potters as they are getting a chance to be a part of this festival and earn their livelihood. They are very busy making lamps with different designs, aiming to complete the fifteen thousand lamps at proper time.
