Ahmedabad (Gujarat) Nov 29 (ANI): Ahead of Gujarat elections, war of words has broken out between the Congress and BJP leaders. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge on November 28 addressed a public rally at Behrampura in Gujarat. While addressing the rally, the Congress leader took a jibe at PM Narendra Modi and compared him with hundred-headed Ravan. Addressing a public rally, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said, “We see Modi’s face in corporation elections, MLA elections or MP elections, everywhere. I’ve been seeing that votes are sought in the name of Modi ji, be it municipality elections, or Assembly elections. Ask for vote in the name of the candidate is Modi going to come and work at the municipality? Is he going to help you in times of your need? Do you have 100 heads like Ravan?” Reacting to it, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said that Kharge calling PM Modi as Ravan has saddened the entire country and this shows the mindset of Congress. Slamming Mallikarjun Kharge, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge called PM Modi, ‘Ravan’. Using such language for a PM, for the son of Gujarat isn’t appropriate. It is condemnable and shows Congress’ mindset. It’s an insult not just to PM Modi. It is an insult to every Gujarati, to Gujarat. Narendra Modi is the pride of Gujarat and has been working for the development of each and every citizen. These are merely words of Mallikarjun and the ideology is of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Remember who called Narendra Modi ‘Maut ka Saudagar’? Madhusudan Mistry said he will show Narendra Modi his place and his ‘Aukaat’.”
