Kolkata: Durga Puja Pandal themed ‘Mota Kapor’ garners attention

Kolkata (West Bengal) Oct 03 (ANI): Durga Puja in Bengal is known to everyone for its grandeur, light decorations and new ideas. This year, Naktala Udayan Sangha’s Puja Pandal is showcasing a unique theme “Mota Kapor” to mark the people's contribution to Bengal who came after Partition. It brings up narratives of women who earned their living by sewing clothes. The Pandal is showcasing their stories through pictures sewn on cloth pieces. The organisers want to convey the message of environmental protection through this theme.
