Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis meets Family of slain Beed Sarpanch, reiterates assurance of justice

Mumbai, January 7 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Beed Sarpanch’s family members at his residence on January 7. Notably, the sarpanch of Massajog village in Beed district, Maharashtra, was murdered on December 9 after he allegedly opposed an extortion attempt. The extortion attempt was allegedly led by local leader Vishnu Chate, who demanded Rs 2 crore from the company. Earlier CM Fadnavis have assured that the culprits involved in the murder of the Sarpanch will not be spared
