Mangaluru auto blast case likely to be handed over to NIA

Mangaluru (Karnataka), Nov 21 (ANI): The low-intensity blast that occurred in an autorickshaw in Mangaluru is likely to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Mangaluru Police displayed the material recovered from the residence of Mangaluru autorickshaw blast accused, Sharik on November 21. While addressing a Press Conference, Bengaluru ADGP Law and Order Alok Kumar said, “A passenger was carrying a bag that had a cooker bomb. It exploded, causing burn injuries to the passenger as well as driver of the auto. The auto driver is Purshottam Pujari and the passenger has been identified as Sharik.”
