Mumbai, October 28 (ANI): Members of the International community gathered at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace for the Special Meeting of the United Nation Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee. They paid tribute to those who perished in the tragic 26/11 attack at the hotel. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar also laid a wreath to victims of the Mumbai terrorist attack at the 26/11 Memorial at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. He said that 26/11 will never ever be forgotten. Dr S Jaishankar said, “We've endeavoured to bring the mastermind and perpetrators of 26/11 attack to justice. This task remains unfinished. The coming together of UNSC’s Counter-Terrorism Committee to this venue is special and significant.” “Together, we should send out the message that the international community will never give up on holding terrorists accountable and delivering justice. 26/11 will never ever be forgotten.” 26/11 terror attack survivors recount their heart-breaking stories in front of UN Security Council members. One said, “We tried to run but a bullet from Kasab’s gun, shot my leg. He had a smile on his face as if he was happy killing us.” Another said, “We were made to stand in a line and we were shot point blank. Unfortunately, the two guests did not survive.” Another survivor said, “I was in one end and the terrorists were at the another end. He looked at me, and started shooting. He threw a grenade three feet away. I screamed and jumped and I knew at that point of time that I would be dead.”
