Nepal: Devotees light 2.5 lakh oil lamps in Janakpur to celebrate Pran Pratishtha at Ram Temple

Janakpur (Nepal), Jan 23 (ANI): Nepalese lit 2.5 lakh earthen lamps in Janakpur to celebrate Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha. Notably, Nepal’s Janakpur is considered to be the home town of Maa Sita. The city is glowing with lamps and colorful decorations celebrating ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. Local groups had begun a campaign to collect all required and possible items such as diyas, oil and cotton lamps. Apart from it, a rangoli reading “Jai Siyaram” was made using flowers and vermillion powders. The idol of Shri Ram Lalla was unveiled in the presence of PM Modi in Ayodhya.
