Cabinet approves Rs 2,516 cr for computerisation of 63,000 PACS

New Delhi, June 29 (ANI): The Cabinet has approved Rs 2,516 cr for the computerisation of 63,000 Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS). Addressing a Press Conference, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on June 29 said, “Cabinet has approved computerization of Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS). 63,000 functional PACS will be computerized with overall budget of Rs 2,516 crore. It'll improve their functioning and bring transparency.” “The Cabinet has approved deregulation of the sale of domestically produced crude oil. It will be implemented from October 2022. Now companies can sell their crude oil to any private company in the domestic market along with government companies,” he added.
