New Delhi, July 05 (ANI): No impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on the two warships being constructed in the Russian shipyards for the Indian Navy, said Vice Chief of Indian Army Vice Admiral SN Ghormade on July 05. While addressing a Press Conference, he said, “We want to encourage indigenisation here. Idea is to develop some capabilities and build capabilities. We are continuing with Project 75 India. Trials of Rafale and Boeing F-18s have been done to prove their capability of operating from aircraft carriers. Our aim is indigenisation. We have a twin-engine deck-based fighter aircraft plan but it will take some time. No impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on the two warships being constructed in the Russian shipyards for the Indian Navy.”
