Operation Ganga: Indian students evacuated from Ukraine’s Sumy reach Lviv Railway Station

Lviv (Ukraine), Mar 09 (ANI): Indian students, who left Ukraine’s Sumy on March 08, reached Lviv Railway Station today. They have boarded a special train straight to Poland. Officials of the Indian Embassy and Red Cross escorted them. The Indian government is carrying out an evacuation exercise under Operation Ganga to help stranded Indian Nationals leave Ukraine. Sumy is a hub of educational institutions and home to a large number of international students.
