New Delhi, March 14 (ANI): Refugees from Pakistan and Afghanistan staged a protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence in response to his recent remarks on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on March 14. The demonstrators expressed dissatisfaction with Kejriwal's stance on the controversial legislation. They were seen holding placards with texts as, “Kejriwal maafi mango”, “Kejriwal sharm karon”.Speaking to ANI, a protester fumingly said, “What we have tolerated in Pakistan only we know, Kejriwal doesn’t know. If we are getting citizenship, why Kejriwal is feeling jealous? Another protester said, “Kejriwal has seen our work, he has seen all the hardships of us yet on every other day, he calls us ‘Daaku’, ‘Chor’. We want to say to him that we are neither dacoits nor thieves. We have been working hard for the past thirteen years and haven’t done any wrong. The media is watching this, the people of the nation are watching this, and the central government is also watching this. We want Kejriwal to provide our rights and he should be sorry for his statement.”
