Geneva (Switzerland), Mar 23 (ANI): Turning the Council’s attention towards the ‘deteriorating security situation’ in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Pashtun Activist Fazal ur Rehman Afridi on March 23 in Switzerland’s Geneva tore into Pakistan over its ‘ties with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan’. Narrating the ordeal of the people in KPK, the activist dubbed the reason behind the worsening situation in KPK as the result of the same. “We would like to turn the council’s attention towards a deteriorating security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Pakistan having grave implications for the basic fundamental rights and lives of Pashtun ethnic minority. We express our concerns about the un-announced deal between the state of Pakistan and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to hand-over Ex-FATA to TTP to be ruled under Sharia Laws,” Afridi said. The remakes were made at an intervention during the 52nd Session of the UNHRC in Geneva.
