People with extremely low BMIs are less active: Study

New Delhi, July 18 (ANI): Researchers from China discovered that people with extremely low BMIs have a unique approach. The data shows that these individuals are significantly less active than those with a BMI in the normal range. Additionally, they also consume less food than people with a normal BMI. The findings of the study were published in the journal Cell Metabolism. The investigators found that compared with a control group that had normal BMIs, the healthy underweight individuals consumed 12 per cent less food. They were also considerably less active, by 23 per cent.
