People in PoK protest against hefty electricity bills

Muzaffarabad, Pakistan occupied Kashmir, 02 August, 2022: - People in Pakistan occupied Kashmir recently took to streets to protest against the high fuel adjustment charges that has led to sharp rise in the prices of electricity. Protestors even complained about imposition of high taxes on the already increased electricity bills issued by the PoK’s Electricity Department. They said a tax of Rs 500 is imposed on a bill of 50 units.
