Hyderabad, May 09 (ANI): Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, expressed optimism about the Congress securing double-digit seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, setting a target of 14 seats for the party. He also alleged that the BJP has no relevance in Telangana and alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made remarks against the state. “Double-digit seats, our target is 14. But we will definitely get double-digit seats. We know the people of Telangana. BJP has nothing to do with Telangana because PM said during Budget session that Telangana committed a mistake by making Congress win, Bills were passed behind closed doors...People of Telangana remember this. Narendra Modi, who spoke against Telangana, has no right to ask for votes from that Telangana”, said Revanath Reddy. He also spoke on Congress party's claim of changes in the Constitution if BJP comes to power and said, “We are asking Narendra Modi and the BJP why did 2021 census not happen? The British started the practice of census in 1881 and after 140 years Narendra Modi did not do it. They have no answer for the same. Congress has clearly said about removing the cap of 50% in reservation and increasing the BC (Backward Classes) reservation. But the BJP is against this. Why? They are not answering this too. Daal mein kuch kaala hai”.
