PM Modi to lay wreath at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Kremlin wall, in Moscow

Moscow (Russia), July 08 (ANI): PM Modi will be on two-day visit to Moscow from July 08-09 at the invitation of Russian President Putin. He will lay wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Kremlin in Moscow. The War Memorial is dedicated to the soviet soldiers who laid their lives against the Axis forces in WWII. Adolf Hitler’s campaign against the Soviet Union was launched by a force known as “Barbarossa”. The upcoming visit of PM Modi will be his first visit to Russia since the beginning of Russia Ukraine war. PM Modi’s last visit to Russia was in 2019 when he attended Economic Summit.
