New Delhi, June 18 (ANI): Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari on June 18 spoke in favour of Agnipath scheme. About the ongoing protests against the scheme, he said that resorting to violence and arson is not a solution. If students have doubts, there are military stations to resolve it. While speaking to ANI, he said, “Resorting to violence and arson is not solution. If they have doubts, there are military stations, Air Force bases, and Naval bases around. They can go to them, get their doubts clarified.” “What they need to do now is to get hold of the correct information, and understand the scheme in its entirety. They'll themselves see the advantages and benefits of the scheme. I am sure this will quell all their doubts whatever they have in their minds,” he added. “It's a very positive step. This is one assurance that the people, who are going to leave services after 4-year tenure, were waiting for. I'm sure that this will be followed by many other such announcements and will definitely assuage issues that have been brought up by youth,” he added.
