Jul 20, 2021

Gilgit Baltistan, 20 July 20, 2021: - Streets filled with hundreds of placards-carrying protesters are becoming an increasingly common sight in illegally occupied Gilgit Baltistan. People are demanding the release of their leaders and social activists who have been framed and put behind bars at the instructions of Islamabad. The latest names in the list of hundreds who have been arbitrarily picked over the years are Manzoor Parwana and Hasnain Ramal. Manzoor Parwana was targeted for questioning Pakistan’s intent behind an indiscriminate expansion of army cantonments in the region.
